I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of thinking, feeling and/or behavior affecting children, adolescents, and their families.

In my practice, I approach the provision of care with a foundation built on empathy, expertise, and a resolute commitment to collaborative healthcare. With years of dedicated experience in the field of pediatric psychiatry, my focus centers on the well-being of children, adolescents (aged 4 to 18), and young adults, allowing me to navigate the intricacies of mental health with a comprehensive perspective.

As a mother of four children, I intimately understand the challenges that come with addressing mental health within a family dynamic. My personal journey fuels a deep passion for aiding others, especially those encountering similar struggles. At the heart of my philosophy lies the conviction that clients and their families are active participants in their care. Together, we embark on a collaborative journey towards recovery, recognizing the importance of shared decision-making in the healing process.

My expertise encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of a diverse range of psychiatric disorders prevalent in children and adolescents. Specializing in conditions such as pediatric depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, ODD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and adolescent eating disorders, I strive to provide tailored and effective interventions.

Affiliated with BryLin Hospital, I also contribute to the acute, short-term mental health care for children in crisis on the Child & Adolescent Unit on Delaware Ave, in Buffalo, NY. BryLin’s inpatient mental health crisis care program offers comprehensive assessment, crisis stabilization, and compassionate treatment for children and adolescents (aged 5-17) experiencing acute emotional, mood, and thought disorders.
